39-year-old Man in Girl’s High School Uniform

Tetsunori Nanpei, a thirty-nine-year-old man in Japan who was dressed up as a high school girl, has been arrested in Saitama. The man was on the grounds of the local high school when he was arrested for trespassing.

Free Tution at Stanford!

Stanford announced yesterday that it will be dropping all tuition costs for students whose parents make less than $100,000 per year and dropping room and board costs for students whose parents make less than $60,000 per year. Additional aid will also go towards families who make more than $100,000 per year.

The announcement was made by President John Hennessy due to outside pressure for universities to reduce tuition costs and a 22% increase in endowment last year to $17.1 billion. About one month ago Harvard made a similar decision.

Confirmed: Blu-ray Wins

It was expected that Blu-ray would win the HD “war.” Shortly after our previous story on the subject, Toshiba announced that they will stop making HD-DVD players. This was only one day after Wal-Mart decided to stop selling HD-DVDs. Now the battle will be between Blu-ray, regular DVD disks, and internet downloading.

Japanese Human Tetris Show Soon to be on Fox

A previously reported phenomenal Japanese show featuring people trying to contort themselves into strange shapes will soon be remade for American audiences and featured on Fox. Fremantle, best known for “American Idol,” will be producing the show.

Nicaragua Wins “Patriots Win” Shirts and Caps

DIRIAMBA, NICARAGUA — Due to the unexpected loss of the New England Patriots, hundreds of shirts and caps created in advanced to celebrate a Super-win for the Patriots have been shipped to Nicaragua and given out to children in the city of Diriamba.

According to Miriam Diaz, of humanitarian organization, World Vision, “The children are the winners.”
